Bioanalytical science is the development of new measurement approaches and their application to solve problems in biology. This area of research is inherently interdisciplinary placing it at the forefront of developments in biology and measurement technology. Our REU program in Bioanalytical Science gives students the opportunity to do research in this interdisciplinary area. If selected, you will join other undergraduate researchers for a summer of science and fun. 

Program Description:

  • 10 week research experience: June 16- August 22, 2008
  • Faculty mentored laboratory research
  • Social and professional development activities
  • $400 weekly stipend, housing and food allowance
  • Travel allowance for students outside southern California
