  • M.S. Chemistry, Burdwan University, Burdwan, India
  • Ph.D.Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India

Research Interests:

The main objective of his research is to synthesis and crystallization of phenalenyl-based neutral radical conductor. Recently he has been synthesized and crystallized the first 1-D phenalenyl-based neutral radical molecular conductor (JACS, 2004, 126, 1478-1484) and very recently the 3-D phenalenyl-based neutral radical conductor (Science, 2005, 309, 281-284). The ultimate goals of this project is to make conductors from molecules which will function as elemental metal like Na or Cu.
